At PCCUA, we celebrate the inspiring stories of our students who balance the demands of education, work, and family while pursuing their dreams. Chynna Green, a second-level student in the Practical Nursing (PN) program on the DeWitt Campus, exemplifies this determination and resilience.
Green chose PCCUA because it provided her with the flexibility she needed to succeed. "It works for my schedule," she shared. "I still work, I have a small child. It allows for me to excel in school, be a great employee at work, and be a present mother to my three-year-old baby girl, Gianni."
Attending PCCUA has been a transformative experience for Green. "The ultimate goal is to become a nurse," she explained. "Once I graduate, I can utilize everything I learned at PCCUA to pass the NCLEX and become a licensed nurse in Arkansas." The NCLEX is a critical step toward achieving her professional aspirations, and Green feels confident that PCCUA has equipped her with the tools and knowledge she needs to succeed.
Green's journey is a testament to the supportive environment at PCCUA, where students are empowered to balance their personal and academic responsibilities while striving toward their goals. Her story reminds us that achieving your dreams is possible with determination and the right support system.
