Construction Technology
TC = Technical Certificate | 30 hours

The PCCUA Construction Technology degree prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills for construction work such as building, inspecting, and maintaining of structures, roads, metal frames, and other construction jobs. The PCCUA program has specialized tracks in general construction, commercial HVAC, and welding, although operation of construction equipment will also be part of the instruction. 

Additional skills covered in the program include:
  • Masonry
  • Carpentry (wood and metal)
  • Electrical and power transmission installation, building/construction finishing management
  • Inspection and other construction-related applications
  • Properties of concrete
  • Differential leveling
  • Handling and placing, slab on-grade

Embedded within the Technical Certificate in Construction Technology are the Certificate of Proficieny in Construction Technology and the Certificate of Proficiency in HVAC.
