CDL/Truck Driving licensure & Certification:

Earn your CDL in 16 weeks along with endorsements in hazmat, doubles & triples and tankards. Also, receive an industry credential in the prevention and detection of human trafficking. We also encourage our students to receive their OSHA Certified Forklift driving license.


Welding:

Students will receive training in areas including Arc Welding, Inert Gas Welding, and Blueprint Reading.

The following levels are available in welding:

  •      Certificates of Proficiency
  •      Technical Certificate

 

 


Construction:

Students pursuing degree work in Construction will receive training in Safety, Industrial Electricity, Blueprint reading, HVAC and Introduction to Welding. We also encourage our students to receive their OSHA Certified Forklift driving license.

The following levels are available in Construction:

  •      Certificate of Proficiency
  •      Technical Certificate
  •      Associate of Applied Science

Manufacturing:

Students pursuing degree work in Manufacturing will receive training in Industrial Safety, Industrial Electricity, Blueprint reading, PLC, HVAC, Hydraulics and Introduction to Welding. They will also receive training in manufacturing machines, design processes, equipment, and problem solving.

The following levels are available in General Technology Manufacturing:

  •      Certificate of Proficiency
  •      Technical Certificate
  •      Associate of Applied Science

HVAC:

Course work includes, Industrial Safety and Sanitation, Industrial Electricity, Basics of Blueprint reading and Principles of HVAC.

Earn your Certificate of Proficiency in this 16-week course.


Phlebotomy:

The Phlebotomy program is a two-semester Technical Certificate program. It is approved by the NAACLS (National accrediting agency for clinical laboratory sciences). Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Phlebotomy certification examination.


Cyber Security:

Upon completion the student will receive a Certificate of Proficiency in Cyber Security.

Class work: Scripting, Linux, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Network Security and Ethical Hacking with Network Defenses.   


Maintaining and Managing Personal Computers:

Certificate of Proficiency

Class work: Computer Information System or Computer Operating Systems, Microsoft Network Essentials, Maintaining/Managing  personal computers and Information Security Essentials. 

 


EMT:

Upon completion the students are eligible to apply to take the state of Arkansas and national registry EMT-Basic practical and written examinations for certification. 

Class work*: Skills taught include, airway management, CPR, AED, immobilization/splinting, medications and auto extrication.

* This class is offered on the Stuttgart campus only.
